medium vase
This medium sized vase is wheel thrown with a speckled tan clay. This piece is both visually and physically textured. I left the exterior of the vase partially unglazed to achieve a close-to-the-earth feel, reminiscent of the toasted, weather beaten sandstone found in the deserts of the southwest. I glazed the upper third and interior with robinsegg blue, to enhance the desert feel and allow it to be a functional vase for fresh flowers.

*Due to the individually handmade nature of my work, there are slight variations in size, shape and glaze from one item to the next. Measurements of my work are roughly accurate and rarely precise. This is part of what makes these pieces so special and unique.

I have found FedEx ground to be the most reliable method to ship these fragile pieces. Please contact me if you would like to go a different route.
